At the start of the game, everyone should build a solid economic groundwork. In order to do this, the 18 resource fields (of the village overview) must be upgraded. There are four types of fields: woodlands, clay pits, iron mines, and wheat fields. If you click on one of these fields, you will get more information and the ability to upgrade the field.

As the game progresses, the buildings in the village become important. In order to build a new building, click on a green diamond. You will get a list of the buildings which are currently available to you.
